Italian Meatballs
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Shape mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs to the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
- Once meatballs are cooked through, remove from skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with your choice of pasta and marinara sauce, or use in your favorite Italian dish.
