Irish Coffee
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of freshly brewed hot coffee
- 1 1/2 ounces of Irish whiskey
- 1-2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons of heavy cream
- Dash of ground nutmeg or cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
- Start by brewing a cup of coffee and keeping it hot in a separate mug.
- In a separate small saucepan, heat the whiskey over low heat for about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the brown sugar to the saucepan with the whiskey and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the hot coffee into a mug and add the whiskey and sugar mixture.
- Gently pour the heavy cream over the top of the coffee, using the back of a spoon to slightly mix it in. You can also use a milk frother to froth the cream before adding it to the coffee.
- Sprinkle a dash of nutmeg or cinnamon on top for an extra flavor boost (optional).
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Irish Coffee!
