Instant Pot Chili
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15.5 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15.5 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Turn on the Instant Pot and set it to sauté mode.
- Once the pot is hot, add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pot and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Turn off the sauté mode and add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, black beans, green chilies, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Once the timer goes off, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then manually release the remaining pressure.
- Open the lid and stir the chili. If the consistency is too thick, add more beef broth
