Iced Tea
Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- 4-6 tea bags (depending on desired strength)
- 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- In a pot, boil 4 cups of water. Once boiling, remove from heat.
- Add 4-6 tea bags (depending on desired strength) to the hot water. Let steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and stir in 1/4 cup of sugar (adjust to taste).
- Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the tea and stir.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature before transferring to a pitcher and refrigerating for at least 1 hour.
- When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
- Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
