Iced Tea

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. In a pot, boil 4 cups of water. Once boiling, remove from heat.
  2. Add 4-6 tea bags (depending on desired strength) to the hot water. Let steep for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and stir in 1/4 cup of sugar (adjust to taste).
  4. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the tea and stir.
  5. Let the tea cool to room temperature before transferring to a pitcher and refrigerating for at least 1 hour.
  6. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
  7. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
