Hummus Recipe

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Reserve 1/4 cup of the liquid for later.
  2. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.
  3. If the hummus is too thick, gradually add in the reserved chickpea liquid or water until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Taste and add salt as needed.
  5. Serve in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
