Hot Wings
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- In a small bowl, mix together cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place in a large bowl. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the wings and toss to coat.
- Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with foil, and spread them out in a single layer. Bake for 45 minutes, turning once halfway through.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine hot sauce, butter, honey, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes. Cook until butter is melted and sauce is well combined.
- Once wings are finished baking, remove them from the oven and place in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
- Place the wings back on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot wings with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.
