Hot Wings

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
  3. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place in a large bowl. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the wings and toss to coat.
  4. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with foil, and spread them out in a single layer. Bake for 45 minutes, turning once halfway through.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine hot sauce, butter, honey, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes. Cook until butter is melted and sauce is well combined.
  6. Once wings are finished baking, remove them from the oven and place in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Place the wings back on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Serve hot wings with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.
