Honey Glazed Ham
Ingredients:
- 1 spiral cut fully cooked ham (7-8 pounds)
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a small saucepan, mix together honey, brown sugar, dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves over medium heat until well combined.
- Unwrap the ham and discard any excess liquids or glaze that came with it.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan, flat side down.
- Brush the honey mixture all over the ham, making sure to get in between the slices.
- Cover the ham with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, remove the foil and baste the ham with the juices. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes.
- The ham is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C). If it needs more time, continue to bake and baste at 10 minute intervals until the desired temperature is reached.
- Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
