Guacamole

  1. Cut avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop out the avocado flesh and place in a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher until smooth.
  3. Add in the lime juice, diced onion, chopped cilantro, jalapeno pepper, garlic powder, and cumin. Mix well.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste. Mix until well combined.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads.
