Guacamole
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Cut avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop out the avocado flesh and place in a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher until smooth.
- Add in the lime juice, diced onion, chopped cilantro, jalapeno pepper, garlic powder, and cumin. Mix well.
- Season with salt and black pepper, to taste. Mix until well combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads.
