Grilled Steak
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your preferred cut)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Place the steak in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, making sure to coat it evenly.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess drip off.
- Grill the steak for 7-8 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness (125°F for rare, 135°F for medium rare, 145°F for medium, 160°F for well done).
- Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
