Grilled Octopus
Ingredients:
- 2 lb octopus tentacles
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, cilantro, or dill)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add octopus tentacles to the marinade and toss to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove octopus from marinade and shake off excess.
- Grill octopus tentacles for 2-3 minutes on each side, until charred and cooked through.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs before serving.
