Granola Bars
Ingredients:
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped almonds, and salt.
- In a small saucepan, heat the honey, maple syrup, almond butter, and vanilla extract over low heat until everything is well combined and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the warmed mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Gently fold in the dried cranberries and mini chocolate chips.
- Press the mixture into the prepared pan, using a spatula or your hands to pack it down firmly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the granola bars cool in the pan for 10 minutes before lifting them out and cutting them into squares.
