Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large pot, boil the potatoes and garlic together until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add in the milk, butter, and parmesan cheese.
- Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until they reach your desired consistency.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the garlic mashed potatoes hot as a side dish with your favorite main course.
