Fried Plantains
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe plantains
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Peel the plantains and cut them into thick slices.
- In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced plantains to the pan and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.
- Using a slotted spatula, remove the fried plantains from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
- Sprinkle salt over the fried plantains while they are still hot.
- Serve immediately as a side dish or snack.
