Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in chicken thighs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
- In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
- In a separate dish, beat the egg and mix in the milk.
- Dip each chicken thigh in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture, making sure to coat evenly.
- Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Carefully place the coated chicken thighs into the hot oil and fry for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and place on a wire rack or on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious fried chicken!
