Fried Chicken

  1. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
  2. In a separate dish, beat the egg and mix in the milk.
  3. Dip each chicken thigh in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture, making sure to coat evenly.
  4. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Carefully place the coated chicken thighs into the hot oil and fry for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the skillet and place on a wire rack or on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious fried chicken!
