  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  4. Once the cream is heated, add in the grated parmesan cheese and continue stirring until the cheese is melted and well combined.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the pan with the sauce and toss until the pasta is coated evenly.
