Escargot

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Thoroughly wash and clean the snails. Rinse them several times in cold water to remove any grit or dirt.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the minced shallots and garlic to the melted butter and cook until they become translucent.
  5. Add the chopped parsley, bread crumbs, and salt and pepper to the butter mixture and stir until well combined.
  6. Place a snail in each well of an escargot pan or a small oven-proof dish.
  7. Spoon the butter mixture over each snail, making sure they are completely covered.
  8. Bake the escargot for 10-12 minutes, or until the butter is bubbling and the snails are cooked through.
  9. Serve hot with crusty bread for dipping and enjoy your delicious escargot!
