Elk Steak
Ingredients:
- 2 elk steaks (8 oz each)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Season the elk steaks evenly with the spice mixture and drizzle with olive oil.
- Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired level of doneness.
- While the steaks are cooking, melt 2 tbsp of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and rosemary sprigs, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Once the steaks are done, remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle the garlic-rosemary butter over the steaks before serving.
