Egg Noodles
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- In a pot of boiling salted water, cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and onion and cook until softened.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add heavy cream, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Add cooked egg noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Serve the egg noodles in bowls and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
