Dumpling Soup
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/4 cup diced shiitake mushrooms
- 1/4 cup diced green onions
- 1/4 cup diced water chestnuts
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 package dumpling wrappers
- 8 cups chicken broth
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together ground pork, mushrooms, green onions, water chestnuts, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture onto the center of a dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with a little water and fold the edges together to seal.
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil over high heat. Add dumplings to the pot and reduce heat to a simmer.
- Cover and let simmer for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until dumplings are cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious dumpling soup!
