Dulce de Leche Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup dulce de leche
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Drizzle the dulce de leche over the brownie batter, trying to cover as much surface as possible.
- Sprinkle the milk chocolate chips and chopped pecans over the dulce de leche layer.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter, spreading it evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
