Duck Breast

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Score the skin of the duck breasts in a crisscross pattern and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary to the skillet and cook until fragrant.
  5. Add duck breasts, skin-side down, and cook for 5 minutes or until the skin is crispy.
  6. Flip the duck breasts and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together balsamic vinegar, honey, and chicken broth.
  8. Place the duck breasts in an oven-safe dish and pour the balsamic mixture over the top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the duck reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  10. Let the duck breasts rest for 5 minutes before serving.
