Drunken Noodles
Ingredients:
- 1 pound wide rice noodles
- 1 lb. chicken (or protein of choice), thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 cup Thai basil leaves
Instructions:
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a separate pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until slightly browned.
- Add garlic, bell pepper, and onion to the pan. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and chili flakes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to coat everything evenly.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan and stir-fry until they are well coated with the sauce.
- Add Thai basil leaves and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Drunken Noodles!
