Dried Fruit Compote

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the dried apricots, cranberries, figs, raisins, water, sugar, honey, cinnamon stick, clove, ginger, and salt.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, until the dried fruits are plump and tender.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  4. Serve warm or chilled.
