Dragon Roll Sushi

Dragon Roll is a popular type of sushi that features a combination of crab, avocado, and cucumber, wrapped in seaweed and sticky rice, and topped with slices of eel and avocado. Follow this recipe to make your own delicious Dragon Roll sushi at home!

  1. Start by making the sushi rice. In a medium pot, combine 1 cup of sushi rice and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Microwave for 30 seconds to dissolve the sugar. Pour the mixture over the cooked rice and mix well.
  3. Place a sheet of nori seaweed on a bamboo sushi mat. Wet your hands and grab a handful of the sushi rice. Spread the rice on the nori, leaving about 1 inch of space at the top of the seaweed.
  4. Arrange the crab, avocado, and cucumber in a line in the center of the rice. Roll the bamboo mat away from you, pressing gently to keep everything in place.
  5. When the roll is complete, use a sharp knife to slice it into 8 equal pieces.
