Double Fudge Brownies

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a square baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add in the flour and salt, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing them and letting them cool completely on a wire rack.
