Double Cheeseburger
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 4 lettuce leaves
- ketchup
- mustard
- salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and shape into thin patties. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the patties onto the grill or grill pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired level of doneness is reached.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or grill pan for a minute or two until slightly charred.
- Assemble the cheeseburgers with the bottom bun, patty with melted cheese, sliced onion, tomato, and lettuce. Add ketchup and mustard to the top bun.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
