Double Cheeseburger

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and shape into thin patties. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the patties onto the grill or grill pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired level of doneness is reached.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt.
  5. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or grill pan for a minute or two until slightly charred.
  6. Assemble the cheeseburgers with the bottom bun, patty with melted cheese, sliced onion, tomato, and lettuce. Add ketchup and mustard to the top bun.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
