Donut Holes

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pot over medium heat.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls using your hands or a cookie scoop.
  6. Carefully drop the dough balls into the hot oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Use a slotted spoon to remove the donut holes from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  8. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for coating.
  9. Roll the fried donut holes in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy your homemade donut holes!
