Deviled Eggs
Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Paprika, for garnish
Instructions:
- Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.
- Drain the hot water and immediately place the eggs in a bowl of ice cold water.
- Once cooled, peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a separate bowl.
- Mix the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper with the egg yolks until smooth.
- Scoop or pipe the mixture back into the egg whites.
- Sprinkle with paprika for garnish.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
