Dairy-Free Ice Cream

  1. Peel and slice the bananas. Place them in a freezer bag or container and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. In a blender, combine the frozen bananas, coconut milk, agave nectar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. If the mixture is too thick, add a few tablespoons of water or dairy-free milk to thin it out. If it is too thin, add more frozen banana slices until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Stir in the dark chocolate chips. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 2-3 hours.
  5. When ready to serve, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften. Scoop into bowls or cones and add desired toppings.
