Cuban Sandwich

  1. Cut the loaf of Cuban bread in half horizontally.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the mustard and mayonnaise to create a spread.
  3. Spread the mixture on both sides of the bread.
  4. Layer the ham, pork, and Swiss cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
  5. Arrange the pickles on top of the cheese.
  6. Close the sandwich with the top half of the bread.
  7. In a pan over medium heat, melt 2 tsp of butter and 2 tsp of olive oil.
  8. Add the sandwich to the pan and press down gently with a spatula.
  9. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove from the pan and let cool for a few minutes.
  11. Cut the sandwich into desired size and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious Cuban sandwich!
