Crab Cakes
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. lump crab meat
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, bread crumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, red bell pepper, and green onions. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Carefully add the crab cakes and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or on a sandwich.
