Coleslaw
Ingredients:
- 1 head of green cabbage
- 1 carrot
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and cut the head in half. Cut out the core and discard it.
- Use a sharp knife or mandoline to thinly slice the cabbage. Place it in a large bowl.
- Grate the carrot and add it to the bowl with the cabbage. Toss the vegetables together.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture and toss until all the vegetables are coated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Stir the coleslaw before serving and adjust seasoning to taste if needed.
