Coconut Shrimp

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, pour coconut milk.
  3. In a third bowl, place shredded coconut.
  4. Dip each shrimp in the flour mixture, making sure to coat all sides.
  5. Next, dip the shrimp in the coconut milk and then in the shredded coconut.
  6. In a large pan, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  7. Carefully place the coated shrimp in the hot oil, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
  8. Place cooked shrimp on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
