Churros
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup of flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until the mixture forms a ball.
- In a separate bowl, beat eggs and vanilla together. Gradually add to the flour mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Place churro dough into a piping bag with a star tip attachment.
- Pipe the dough into hot oil, cutting it off with a knife or scissors at desired length. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- In a separate bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon. Roll the cooked churros in the mixture to coat evenly.
