Chicken Stir Fry
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
- In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and garlic. Stir fry until vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the pan and pour in the soy sauce mixture. Stir and cook until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
