Chicken Marsala

  1. In a shallow dish, mix together flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the flour mixture, making sure they are evenly coated.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the coated chicken breasts to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, until browned and fully cooked. Remove from pan and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until mushrooms are tender.
  6. Pour Marsala wine and chicken broth into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  7. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, until sauce is slightly reduced.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and return the chicken to the skillet, covering it with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Chicken Marsala!
