Chicken Fajitas
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortillas
- Optional: toppings such as salsa, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken strips to the bowl and coat with the seasoning mixture.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Cook until they are softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Place the chicken back into the pan with the onions and peppers and mix together.
- Warm the tortillas in the pan or in the microwave.
- Serve the chicken and vegetable mixture on top of the warm tortillas.
- Optional: Serve with toppings such as salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and shredded cheese.
