Chicken Curry

  1. In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add the chopped onions and cook until they are soft and golden brown.
  4. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.
  6. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and stir to combine with the onion-tomato mixture.
  7. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well.
  8. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  9. Pour in 1 cup of water and mix well.
  10. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let the chicken simmer for 15-20 minutes or until it is cooked
