Chicken Biryani

  1. Wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the chicken pieces with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
  3. In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and coriander seeds and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  5. Add marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are fully cooked.
  6. Add garam masala powder and mix well.
  7. In a separate pan, boil 2 cups of water.
  8. Add soaked rice, chopped coriander leaves, and mint leaves to the pot with chicken. Mix well.
