Cheesecake
Ingredients:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup of sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture onto the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In a separate mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth. Add in the eggs, one at a time, and mix well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and heavy cream until everything is well combined.
- Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
- Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly ajar for about 30 minutes.
- Remove the cheesecake from the oven and allow it to cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving.
- Garnish with your favorite toppings, such as fresh berries or a drizzle of chocolate sauce, if desired.
- Enjoy your delicious homemade cheesecake!
