Buffalo Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Blue cheese dressing for dipping
- Celery sticks for serving
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, combine hot sauce, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Cook over low heat until butter is melted and mixture is well combined. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour and salt. Dredge chicken wings in flour mixture, making sure to coat evenly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 375 degrees F. Carefully add chicken wings to hot oil and fry for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Using tongs, remove chicken wings from oil and place on a paper towel lined plate to drain excess oil.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss hot chicken wings with the prepared hot sauce mixture until well coated.
- Serve hot with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks on the side.
