Bruschetta
Ingredients:
- 1 French baguette
- 4 large tomatoes, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices and place them on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, and olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the tomato mixture onto the slices of bread, making sure to spread it evenly.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the bread is crispy and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
