Broccoli Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 heads of broccoli
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the broccoli into small florets and steam for 5-7 minutes or until slightly tender.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, chopped onion, minced garlic, cooked rice, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the soup mixture over the broccoli and rice mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the casserole is heated through and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
