Blackened Mahi Mahi
Ingredients:
- 4 Mahi Mahi fillets (6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon blackening seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix together blackening seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, cayenne pepper, paprika, dried thyme, and dried oregano.
- Brush Mahi Mahi fillets with olive oil on both sides.
- Sprinkle the blackening seasoning mixture over both sides of the fish, pressing the seasoning into the fillets.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the coated fillets.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is blackened on the outside.
