Blackberry Cobbler Recipe

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the blackberries and 1/4 cup of the sugar. Spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, remaining 3/4 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add in the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. In another bowl, combine the milk and vanilla extract. Slowly pour this into the dry mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Spoon the batter over the blackberries, covering them completely.
  7. Bake the cobbler for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
  8. Serve hot or cold, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired. Enjoy!
