Blackberry Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 cups blackberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the blackberries and 1/4 cup of the sugar. Spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, remaining 3/4 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add in the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In another bowl, combine the milk and vanilla extract. Slowly pour this into the dry mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Spoon the batter over the blackberries, covering them completely.
- Bake the cobbler for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- Serve hot or cold, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired. Enjoy!
