Black Bean Burgers

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the black beans until mostly smooth.
  2. Add in the breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, and beaten egg.
  3. Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  5. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  6. Cook the black bean patties for about 4 minutes on each side, until crispy and heated through.
  7. Serve on a bun with your desired toppings.
