  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Slowly fold in the dry ingredients until just combined. Then, mix in the chopped almonds and dried cranberries.
  6. Shape the dough into a log, about 14 inches long and 4 inches wide, and place it onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 1-inch pieces.
  8. Place the slices back onto the baking sheet and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until they are lightly golden.
