Beef Tacos
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 8 taco shells
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Toppings: diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream, salsa
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
- Add in the onion, red bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the water and let it simmer for 5 minutes, until the liquid has reduced.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place the taco shells on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove the shells from the oven and fill each one with the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle the cheese on top of the beef filling.
- Place the filled tacos back in the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and tacos are heated through.
- Serve the tacos with desired toppings, such as diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce
