Beef Stew
Ingredients:
- 1 pound beef, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add in the beef and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add in the onion and garlic. Cook until softened, about 2 minutes.
- Add in the potatoes and carrots. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pot and stir to combine.
- Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary.
- Bring the stew to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
- Let the stew cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious beef stew!
