  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
  2. Add in the warm water and mix until a dough is formed.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide it into two equal halves.
  6. Roll each half into a long, thin baguette shape.
  7. Place the baguettes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Cut diagonal slashes on top of each baguette with a sharp knife.
  9. Cover the baguettes with a damp cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  11. Bake the baguettes for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
